Dorisa Temple, established in 417 as the earliest temple of the Silla dynasty on Naengsan Mountain, is steeped in legend. Hence, the temple's name, Dorisa, derives from combining syllables of “peach” (do) and “plum” (ri). Positioned atop Bohyeonsan Mountain, Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory stands as a prominent hub for optical astronomy observation in Korea. Regular public events are scheduled on the fourth Saturday of April through June, and again in September and October. This route allows you to stroll along the valley, where you can listen to the sounds of water, birdsong, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Korea. Road to Jirisan is a 12 km road from Hamyang-eup to the vicinity of Jirisanjeilmun Gate. You go through Jianjae Pass and Odojae Pass to Macheon, where you will find Jirisanjeilmun Gate and Jirisan View Park. From here, you can see the entire ridge of Jirisan Mountain, and there are also hiking trails to Beophwasan Mountain and Sambongsan Mountain. The road is also renowned for its biking trails and attracts many motorcycle enthusiasts.

Near the lighthouse is the Songdaemal Light Exhibition, displaying information about the lighthouse and various sea-related materials. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll on the trail in front of the lighthouse. This location is also renowned for its stunning views of the sunrise over the east coast.
