Wanju Hwaamsa Temple (화암사(완주))

The temple was founded by National Preceptor Ilgyo in the 3rd year of King Hyoso of Silla (694), and it is said that Seolchong once studied here. Geuknakjeon Hall was built in 1425 with the benefactor of Seong Dal-saeng. Uhwaru is also designated as a treasure as a building that shows the characteristics of ancient architecture. The bronze bell made during the reign of King Gwanghaegun was cast by Hoyeong, and it is called the alarm clock because it made a sound when something unfortunate happened to the temple or the country to inform of the emergency. Hwaamsa Temple is surrounded by the primeval forest of Myeongsan Mountain like a folding screen and has a valley with clear water flowing.

Hapcheon Film Park is filled with a unique atmosphere and things to see in every alley, and has been used as a filming location for over 190 dramas, movies, and music videos set in the 1920s to the 1980s. Visitors can look around using trams, wagons, and more while they take pictures of every place. Behind the theme park are the nation's best bonsai park and a garden theme park that span an area of 150,000 ㎡. In addition to the main Cheong Wa Dae filming set, there is a bonsai greenhouse, an ecological forest experience center, and a wood culture experience center that can be enjoyed by both adults and children.

This park was created in 2003 to commemorate the February 28 Student Democratic Uprising in 1960 on the site of Jungang Elementary School. It is a place that contains the pain of Daegu's history from the February 28 Uprising to the March 15 Uprising and the April 19 Revolution, but now it has become a peaceful and pleasant resting place in the city center. Thanks to the cool fountain and the shade created by the beautiful trees, it is established as a park that anyone can visit comfortably, regardless of age or gender. Furthermore, there are various amenities such as a walking trail, stream, and central fountain plaza, as well as many famous restaurants nearby, serving as a convenient public area to the citizens of Daegu throughout the year.

Yeosu Port is the second fishing port of Korea. The port has an ideal environment for fishing, such as a large harbor and deep waters with many islands that form a natural breakwater. The port also acts as a tourist port for sightseeing Odongdo Island, Geumodo Island, and other nearby islands. With Jasan Park as a center point, a relatively new port called Bukhang Port is located to the north and an old port named Namhang Port is located to the southwest. The Seoul Hiking Tourism Center is located 5 minutes on foot from Exit 2 of Bukhansan Ui Station and provides various services to hikers. It provides hiking course guidance and information (available in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese) about the mountains of Seoul, including Bukhansan, Bugaksan, and Inwangsan Mountains, as well as promotional materials such as Seoul hiking tourism guidebooks and maps. Also, it operates hiking tour programs with various themes every week for foreigners and offers hiking gear rental services such as hiking boots, hiking attire, trekking poles, gloves, and crampons for foreigners. (Koreans accompanied by foreigners can also rent the gear.) In addition, there is a storage locker and lounge for visitors, so they can pack up and rest before hiking.
Doejae Catholic Church (되재성당)

Doejae Catholic Church, built in 1895, is the second Catholic church to be completed after Yakhyeon Catholic Church in Seoul and is known as the first Hanok Catholic church. The building was completely destroyed during the Korean War and was restored in 2008. The name 'Doejae' refers to a pass located in Seungchi-ri, Hwasa-myeon, Wanju-gun. Doejae Catholic Church is unique in that it has an entrance for each toenmaru. The left side is for men and the right side is for women. UN Sculpture Park is located next to the UN Memorial Cemetery where the souls of UN soldiers who served in the Korean War rest in peace. The sculpture park exhibits 34 pieces of artworks created and donated by sculptors from 21 nations who provided support in the Korean War. These sculptures were created as a part of UN Memorial Park International Sculpture Symposium (September 15-30, 2000) that commemorated the 50th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War in honor of those who fought in the war. The UN Sculpture Park had its opening ceremony on October 24, 2001.
Gyeongju Yangnam Columnar Joint Observatory (경주 양남 주상절리 전망대)

This observatory was built in October 2017 and allows visitors to enjoy the view of columnar joints of Yangnam, a national geopark. The columnar joints are formed along the shoreline of Eupcheon-ri in Yangnam-myeon. Several different forms of columnar joints can be observed from columnar joints that point upward to those that fan out or lean to the side. In particular, the fan-shaped columnar joint is a rare sight not only in Korea but also worldwide, and thus has been designated as a Natural Monument in 2012. Visitors can also see informational exhibits on diverse geographical resources at the observatory as well as ask for a detailed guide by the geology commentator on-site.
Bieung Port (비응항)

Bieung Port is the starting point of Saemangeum Embankment which is at the entrance of the Saemangeum tourist area. Bieung Port was once closed due to the excess of soil sedimentation after the construction of Geumgang Estuary seawall. In addition, when the shores were closed off with the Saemangeum Embankment reconstruction project, a new port was in need and thus Bieung Port was repaired and reopened along with two other ports. Bieung Port in particular was constructed as a multi-functioning fisheries port so that it may be incorporated with the nearby attractions in the tourism business.
