Looking towards the south from the top of Mireuksan Mountain, one can see Geumma Reservoir. The reservoir is shaped like the Korean peninsula. Hence it is also referred to as Jido Yeonmot, or Map Pond. The terrain is especially beautiful when viewing it through the fog in the early mornings.
The water comes from Mireuksan Mountain, ensuring a steady supply of water throughout the year. There are no factories or other contaminants nearby so the water quality is of the highest grade. Near the reservoir, one can find Seodong Park and Mahan Hall. Seodong Park is a sculpture park displaying various sculptures such as a bronze statue of Baekje’s King Muwang of Baekje and a statue of Seodong’s Princess Seonhwa. Mahan Hall showcases the lifestyle and culture of Mahan, a tribal confederation during the Samhan period. The park also features various facilities such as an observatory, fishing spot and a promenade.

Gyeokpo Port is an important transit point for maritime transportation between the islands of the West Sea, such as Wido Island, Gogunsan Islands, and Hongdo Island. As a fishing port, it is known as the place through which delicious seafood from the clean waters of the West Sea arrives on land. This reputation is evident in the huge crowds of gourmands and tourists who flock to the port for webfoot octopus in spring and gizzard shad in fall. The port hauls large catches of webfoot octopus, cuttlefish, blue crab, monkfish, rockfish, spotty belly greenling, flatfish, gizzard shad, clam, and shellfish, which can be enjoyed in many seafood restaurants near the port. Wibongsanseong County Park is located north of Jeonju, past Songgwangsa Temple through a tunnel of cherry trees. The park has some noteworthy sightseeing attractions such as Wibongpokpo Falls, Wibongsa Temple, and Dongsang Reservoir. Winbongsanseong County Park was founded at the site of Winbongsanseong Fortress, which was built under King Sukjong's rule in 1675 as a refuge site to safekeep the portrait of Joeson dynasty's founder King Taejo and the royal family's ancestral tablet in times of war or other national emergency. They are originally enshrined in Gyeonggijeon Shrine and Jogyeongmyo Shrine, and when Jeonju had fallen during the Donghak Peasant Revolution, the portrait and tablet were moved to a small palace inside the fortress. The original fortress walls were 16 kilometers in circumference with three gates in the north, east, and west, but only a half-moon shaped western gate remains standing today.

Jeodonghang Port is the biggest port on Ulleungdo Island, where most of the island's squid fishing and related process takes place. Jeodongeohwa, referring to the luring lights from the boats for squid fishing, is one of the famous Eight Major Beauties of Ulleungdo Island. Chotdaebawi Rock, standing next to the port sea wall, has a sad legend about a daughter who died from grievance when her father never came back from fishing.

Woryeonggyo Bridge was named in reference to the submerged Woryeongdae Observatory and the names of nearby areas Wolgok-myeon and Eumdamgol. The view of Woryeonggyo Bridge with the moon's reflection in the Nakdonggang River is a beautiful sight. Woryeonggyo Bridge harbors a tragic yet beautiful legend about a wife who made a pair of mituri (hemp shoes) out of her hair in heartfelt yearning and condolence for her late husband. In commemoration of her pure and noble love, the bridge was designed in the style of mituri.

This spot is where Yeong-sik and Hyeon-suk enjoyed their hanbok date. Perhaps because of the romantic lights, the two managed to confirm their feelings for each other once more. You can walk on the bridge like Yeong-sik and Hyeon-suk did or take the Moon Boat on the lake and enjoy the view of the bridge from the water.

Ulleungdo Lighthouse, sometimes called Taeha Lighthouse, was first lit in 1958 as a guiding light for boats coming to and from Ulleungdo Island. The lighthouse is a round, white concrete structure rising 7.6 meters high. With a new prisim light placed in 2003, the lighthouse can reach as far as 50 kilometers away. The hiking trail up to the lighthouse is a natural, narrow path among groves of trees. The gentle slope is surrounded by uniquely shaped cliffs, so it is a popular hiking course for tourists.

Banghwadong Recreational Forest is located at the foot of Jangansan Mountain. The mountain trail from Deoksanyongso Pond leading to Banghwadonggyegok Valley features nature learning centers and adventure games facilities. The clean valley is lined with oddly shaped cliffs, shrubs and trees, which all combine into a splendid view. The forest is situated at a highland more than 500 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by mountains that are over a thousand meters above sea level, so the temperature is low and the water at the valley is cool even in the summer.
There are log cabins, group accommodation facilities, and training halls by the valley to accommodate group visits, conferences, gatherings and seminars. The recreational forest also operates Banghwadong Family Vacation Village for family visitors, equipped with accommodation facilities, various camping sites, and a wood carving experience center.

Hoemunsan Mountain (alt. 830 m) stands at the border of Imsil-gun, Sunchang-gun, and Jeongeup-si. It consists of three peaks — Hoemunbong, Janggunbong, and Gitdaebong Peaks — and stretches 8 kilometers from east to west and 5 kilometers from north to south. Because the Seomjingang River, flowing from Okjeongho Lake, surrounds Hoemunsan Mountain on two sides, the view from the peak is fascinating. There are many valleys popular for water play in the summer, drawing many visitors to the villages of Deokchi and Cheondam.
